Snow!

These days, the thought of snow is only a memory, and I am NOT sad about it one bit!  It was a very cold winter here in Laurens and we had TWO snows, one of which basically shut down the town (and upstate) for 3 days!  Since Mason was only 4 1/2 months old during these southern blizzards, we didn't take him out in it for very long!  He wasn't too sure of it the first time we went out, but started coming around to it the second time.  Even Daisy didn't want to stay out in it for too long!

The 1st snow......December 26, 2010......

The 2nd snow......January 10, 2011......

I can't wait until next winter when Mason will be able to chase Daisy around in the snow, build snowmen, and throw snowballs at Daddy!!

Mason's 1st Christmas

Mason had a wonderful first Christmas thanks to all of our wonderful family members!  They showered him with lots of great gifts, and Santa came to visit him at Nana and Pops' house!

You can't tell me that he doesn't look just like his daddy!

These days, Mason is getting more and more animated and full of personality!  He makes a lot of my facial expressions and laughs at everything, but no matter what face he makes, you can't deny that he is Justin's child!  I mean, just look at him!!

Gobble, Gobble!

These days, Thanksgiving seems like such a long time ago.  Although, it seems like Mason was just born yesterday--yes, I know I'm all mixed up!

Mason had a great first Thanksgiving!  He was 3 1/2 months old then, and we had just gotten back from his first beach trip to Miami.  Since Justin had to work and couldn't come to the beach, he came down and met us at Nana and Pops' house.  The girls (and Pops) cooked lots of delicious food all day long, and Grammy and Poppy joined us for dinner from Irmo.

The next day, we went to a Christmas tree farm to pick out and cut down a Christmas tree for Nana and Pops' house......a family tradition.
Mason slept through the picking out and cutting down of the tree.
But, Nate had a blast and even helped carry the tree to the barn.
Mason kind of woke up for the hayride.  Although not by his choice......it was pretty loud and bumpy.
Family picture--minus Anastasia who unfortunately had to work  : (

My Makeshift Photo Shoots

These days, I am getting more into photography!   I am enjoying creating my own little photo shoots......setting up a sheet, blanket, toys, etc, and taking tons of pictures of Mason.  I am not very good yet, and Mason doesn't have the longest attention span--but I am having fun.  That's all that matters, right?

Here are some 3 month pictures that I took.

Just hanging out with Daddy......

Our Christmas card photoshoot.......The hardest part was wrapping the box and keeping Daisy out of the pictures.  Mason LOVED sitting in the box!  He was all smiles and full of laughs!
